Paris Auto Show 2016

A few shots of the Paris Auto Show this year.  The big theme to my eye was front engine super cars.  The Maybeck was the most elegant and extreme version of this trend.  Otherwise the show was not too interesting.  

• Lexus showed the UX concept - That is an interesting design.  
• Toyota had an interesting prototype with a 3d printed frame.  Cool but not something you want to buy just now.
• Honda showed the Civic Type R.  Nice in Gray.  (Getting a bit pudgy)
• Skoda had the usual array of finely segmented sensible cars and GT's.
• Tesla Model X stand was covered in people.  There was almost no room to stand.  If this is a clue the Model X looks set to take off in Europe.
• Mercedes design is softening its edges and becoming more feminine again.  Nice to see.  The  C-Class Coupe is looking classy again.
• Opel showed a beautiful little sports car.  Looks just like an MX-5 Hardtop should be.  Hope they bring it to production. The GT Concept
